Soapy Mango

Today I carved up my mango madness soap. I made this on my crafting frenzy on Sunday. The pics below show the soap doing its chemical reaction (saponification), it gets really hot and then cools. After another 24 hours or so you can remove it from the mould and then wait another 24 hours and carve it up. THEN depending on the type of soap made and the mix of oils you wait between 6 weeks and 6 months before you use it, to give it enough time to dry and harden (the harder the soap the longer it will last). There’s no way I’d go back to bought supermarket soap after making my own.
