All of these will eventually become this.

Made from Rowan’s Kidsilk Haze (my favourite yarn of all time, though not very practical). Most of the items are made with between two to eight strands of yarn at a time and involve a lot of knitting into the front, back, front of stitches. Even though it’s not the most interesting knitting, the Kidsilk makes it all worthwhile. The pattern is from Vogue Knitting Holiday 2004.

Ah, I have been looking for the definitive knitted flower pattern for a while now. Finally found one on a pattern from knittydotcom on a Jillian Moreno pattern for a cardigan with 84 flowers around the shawl collar. Gorgeous! I made a few, but I think in mohair-y wool like yours they would be even better.
