Self Portrait Tuesday

I haven’t participated for a few weeks and I had to plan for this month’s theme "self documentary". The image you see here is a collage one morning last week from when I woke up until I walked out the door. Starting at 7.15am with my first view of the day, Doughman, and ending at 7.55am with me saying goodbye to Spud.

I had the camera next to the bed so in the morning when I woke I could start snapping. These images are a mixture of my views in the morning and performing my daily routine to get out the door and in my car.

love the combo of colours and the way you have integrated the time line… brilliant… sooo sew clever, reminds me of patchwork. Speaking of crap service in our craftshops, have you seen the packs of fabrics cut into strips in Lincraft? under $10 from memory and would look great on a kitty dress… I saw them out at the Whitfords store, on the back wall with the wools! so glad you are back, was dissapointed when you said you were having a week off! you gotta join Mike Effords club! please.. I read yours and Karen Chengs blogs everyday! http://www.michaelefford.com.au/one_percenter/ keep up the great work girl! love your stuff (will send proper link when site is running, I am in Perth to! used to work with Karen)

I think this is incredibly clever and love the way it resembles a strippy quilt with each fabric strip having a different meaning. It’s also like very postmodern wooden flooring!
