I’m embarrassed to say I started this scarf in umm June or July last year for a friend’s birthday, luckily she’s patient. No it’s not taken me 10 months to knit it, I just get sidetracked and even though I absolutely love kidsilk haze it’s a bitch to knit on larger needles.

The details; knitted with one skein of Kidsilke Haze in Trance on 5mm bamboo. Pattern was from a blog that I don’t think exists anymore, it’s very close to the feather and fan (google it!).

The colour of the yarn shown on the packaging is a better represenation of the colour than the photo of the actual scarf (taken late at night on my red bedspread, not the best choice of colour backgrounds).

It’s floaty and toasty.

Okay, you can’t just slip in such great gift packaging and not even mention it in your post! That flower is so beautiful. Your blog always makes me kick myself for lack of knitting ability.
