Hey there! I’m Nic and I’ve been quilting for over 15 years. My passion for all things crafty started when I was in high school with origami and over the years I have dabbled in lots of crafts (paper, beading and more) but I have landed squarely in patchwork and quilting land. Specifically, I love hand piecing and applique and depending on what I’m working on as to whether the machine will be involved in my piecing. My quilting muse is Jen Kingwell, I love her aesthetic, style and creativity. You’ll see quite a few of my WIP’s are Jen’s designs. I am of the more is more when it comes to using prints and colour and am challenged by solids. I find solids super hard to use, which is why you’ll see me use an Essex Linen/metallic or Moda Grunge/Grunge spots I need movement and “texture” in my solids.
I live in one of the most isolated major cities in the World, Perth, Australia with my partner and our four fur babies (one senior pug and 3 indoor kitties).
