About the pattern
Dishy Pinnie is a fun english paper pieced pincushion project with the opportunity to upcycle a favourite dish, cup or bowl. This right here is kit to make your own Dishy Pinnie. You'll find the pattern, here. You could also #paperfreeepp and hand piece the hexie panel (my favourite way to sew hexies!).
About The Kit
Dishy Pinnie hexagon kit comes with the following:
- Eye spy 1/2" hexagon acrylic template - super helpful!
- 100 1/2" hexagon papers
You'll need to have some felt beads on hand, depending on the size of your pinnie container between one and two cm's (½ - ¾") in diameter. All the details about the pattern requirement are in the Dishy Pinnie pattern
For a project like Dishy Pinnie, when English Paper Piecing, glue basting is my preferred method. One because the hexies are super small and two you’re not using a huge number of papers, so if I lose some to glue basting hexies this small I’m ok with that!
