Travel, sew and meet with us!

Angie and I are busy designing our quilts for the cruise. We will be taking you through making the super fun Mariner Compass block using Marti Michell templates. Angie will share all of her template tips and tricks and will show you how to machine piece one of these blocks together. I'll share my hand piecing version and take you through how to hand piece patchwork. There will be 3 sewing days (on sea days), full details to come. Cruise booking will need to be completed through RGE Travels to be able to book for the classes. We will also have a meet and greet as well as one shore trip together. Sew. Much Fun. We get to spend Christmas and New Year cruising and sewing. Amazing. Angie and I have already purchased some "cruisin' shoes" and are planning our wardrobes. That's a thing right?

Our Itinerary

A quilt is like a patchwork of memories, just as a friendship is built on shared experiences.

I'm travelling along, will you help me find a roommate?

YES! RGE Travels will work with you and the others that are traveling solo to find you compatible roommates. The Facebook Group is also a great way to find roommates and get to know those traveling on the cruise. [CLICK HERE TO JOIN]

How many will be travelling solo?

We’re unable to predict how many solo travellers will book, but we’re prepared for it. We’ll help you match with a roommate if you’re looking for one, alternatively there’s single rooms available.

The beauty of traveling with Ange and Nic is that you’re going to be with a large group of people who all have the love of quilting in common. You’ll be able to choose how social you want to be and we’ll do our best to make sure no one feels left out.

When can we register for the quilting classes?

You can indicate your interest in doing the class when you book. Once your deposit is paid you’ll be able to select which class you’d like to attend, morning or afternoon.

Is the quilting class included in the cruise?

No, the quilting class is an add-on so that persons not wanting to do the class aren’t charged for something they won’t use. The cost of the class is USD$400 per person. It includes all the templates you’ll need plus an exclusive swag bag.

Is the class suitable for a beginner?

Absolutely! We’ve designed the class to give you a foundational skill set in patchwork. Our goal is to make sure that you’re a confident patchworker by the time you leave the ship.

Don’t worry if you’re already a confident patchworker, we’ve got something for you too!

Want to know more about the class, then [CLICK HERE - COMING SOON].

Will I get a class supplies list?

YES! We’ll provide you with the class supplies list in October 2023 along with your digital copy of the pattern we’ll be working from (you’ll get a hard copy onboard).

We promise, we’ll give you plenty of time to organise what you’d like to bring with you!
