A BLOOM of Finished Blossie Baskets
Share
If you’ve ever thought, “I’ll just make one…” (lol), you already know how this goes.
Blossie Baskets are the ultimate small-but-mighty make: quick to start, satisfying to finish, and dangerously giftable. Everyone turns out a little different depending on your fabric choices and stitching, and that’s half the fun.
Ready for inspiration?
Below is a gallery of finished Blossies made by me (Nic) to spark ideas for your next one - whether you go bold and bright, soft and scrappy, or all-in with Liberty (no regrets).
What you’ll spot in the gallery
Colour stories that work every time
High contrast, low contrast, moody, pastel, themed fabric (animal, sewing, rainbow) - everything works. I like to repeat a few fabrics and let one “hero” print shine in Blossie's bottom and lid hexagons.
Tiny details that make a big difference
Woven labels, hand stitching, fun linings, fussy cutting, or a cheeky feature hexie - these little touches give instant heirloom vibes.
Shapes + layouts you can totally copy
Some Blossies are super scrappy, others are planned and polished. If you spot one you love, screenshot it and let it inspire your next basket.
Curious about getting your own Blossie featured?
If you’ve made a Blossie Basket, I’d love to include it in a future gallery update.
